this is what Todd has been doing all week

March 23, 2008

Todd has produced slideshows and other multi-media for the HL photo website for the National City/ KHSAA Boys’ Sweet 16 State Basketball Tournament at Rupp Arena in Lexington. That was a mouthful, wasn’t it? I got that official title from the back of his press pass.

Basically, we haven’t seen him very much the past few days because he has worked 15 games in 4 days. It’s a good thing he enjoys basketball. Actually, he’s had a lot of fun just learning and doing all this technical stuff. He has gathered sound clips, edited them, and spliced them together with the photographs.  I’m sure there’s a whole lot more to it than that!

The Well Trained Mind describes classical education based on the trivium. I find it to be an indispensable how-to manual for homeschooling.

what to read?

Ten homeschooling moms compiled these book lists:
1000 GOOD books
100 GREAT books

My most valuable resource for books has been Valerie, a homeschooling mother of eleven. She has written many book reviews and also sells living books.
